About
I am a Visual Designer and Illustrator based in the Indianapolis area. I have spent many years as a graphic designer, but eventually I decided it was time for a change and to evolve my career. I transitioned into UX/UI Visual Design and I enjoy mixing creativity with human-computer interaction principles. My objective is to deliver top notch experiences — including concept, ease of use and aesthetics — to make users’ lives easier and add a sense of delight. My ability to see past the visuals and think more deeply into the experience itself sets me apart from other visual designers. My other professional interests include illustration and iconography.
I am a life-long learner. I have a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication (BFA) and am currently enrolled in a master’s program for Interaction Design & Information Architecture (MS). I currently work as a Visual Designer at Anthem, Inc.
When I'm not designing or drawing something, I can be found hanging out with my husband and our dog, gaming, reading, obsessing over music, or watching Harry Potter.
